As part of the company’s strategic growth plan and commitment to meet the evolving needs of clients, Pinchin Ltd. is merging with its Atlantic platform, Pinchin LeBlanc Environmental Ltd., effective January 1, 2019. The merged company will operate as Pinchin Ltd.
Pinchin LeBlanc has been a part of the Pinchin Group of Companies since 1993. The merger allows the formation of one integrated national organization providing clarity in the marketplace with a unified offering and brand. For 25 years, the shared values and commitment to excellence in client service has been at the core of collaboration between Pinchin LeBlanc and Pinchin Ltd.
“With the harmonization of our brand and integration of our thought leadership we are meeting our strategic commitment to continuously improve how we serve our clients from coast to coast,” said Jeff Grossi, Pinchin Ltd. CEO.
The market demand for environmental services, top talent, and national reach provides the necessary framework for a timely merger. Every step taken toward expanding our operational presence and building a stronger team fosters business growth reinforcing our position as a market leader.
“Our local values and culture are very important to us and our clients”, said Pinchin LeBlanc President, Scott McCarthy. “When Don Pinchin and Ron LeBlanc partnered back in 1993 they agreed that this would be a fundamental principle for servicing our clients in Atlantic Canada. With the merger, our alignment on this principle is guaranteed to continue for years to come.”
In conjunction with this merger, Scott McCarthy will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer for Pinchin Ltd. effective January 1, 2019. Scott, a Professional Geoscientist, joined Pinchin LeBlanc in 1991 and assumed the position of President in 2011.
“I am thrilled to have Scott in this new role to oversee business operations at Pinchin and look forward to him joining the Pinchin Executive Leadership Team,” said Jeff Grossi, Pinchin Ltd. CEO.
“Scott has led the implementation of key operating initiatives at Pinchin LeBlanc since 2003 which has led to Pinchin LeBlanc’s reputation as a premier client-focused service provider. Scott’s experience will support the demands of our company’s increasing size, complexity and scope. In his role as COO, Scott will bring tremendous value to the continuous improvement of our operations, client service delivery, and brand leadership.”
Beyond this merger Pinchin will remain dedicated to and focused on our clients in the Atlantic region. Local shareholders will continue to drive sustainable growth, with the quality and technical expertise our regional clients rely upon.
