Pinchin is pleased to announce that Linda Drisdelle, P.Eng, M.Eng., MBA, FEC has joined us as General Manager for the Emissions Reduction and Compliance Group (ERC).
Experience
Linda brings 29 years of experience to Pinchin. For the past 10 years, she held a business management role where she devised strategies to improve and expand businesses related to industrial gases. Before this, she had an extensive engineering career which included designing plants; commissioning; and plant and engineering management in a number of industries including industrial gases, chemicals and pulp and paper. Linda has a reputation for leveraging relationships amongst stakeholders in order to improve performance of businesses and devising region specific strategies in response to changing market needs and opportunities.
Education
Linda holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. Linda currently serves on the Community Affairs and Gender Issues Committee for the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto and is active with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Professional Recognition
In 2009, Linda was recognized for substantial service to the profession of engineering and was named a member of Professional Engineers Ontario’s Order of Honour. In 2011, Linda was named a Fellow of Engineers Canada for noteworthy service to the engineering profession.
Responsibilities
Based in Mississauga, Linda will be responsible for operations, strategic planning, leadership and financial performance of ERC. This new position is aligned with Pinchin’s strategic goal of providing business development of ERC services and developing an expansion strategy across Canada leveraging technical strengths in new markets.
