On Thursday, October 17th, our Pinchin expert, hosted a 1 hour session on “Asbestos Assessments & Management Plans for Commercial Real Estate”.
The management and disturbance of asbestos is regulated under the Occupational Health and Safety Act by Regulation 278/05 (O.Reg 278/05) respecting Asbestos on Construction Projects and in Buildings and Repair Operations. To meet the minimum requirements of the Regulation, an Asbestos Assessment, Asbestos Reassessment and Asbestos Management Program (AMP) must be instituted, as required, to properly manage asbestos-containing materials in Commercial Real Estate.
This webinar discussed the responsibilities of Commercial Real Estate Owners and Property Managers to successfully meet and exceed regulatory requirements on an annual basis in Ontario.
