As most of you know, our fellow Canadians are facing devastating losses as wildfires continue to sweep across British Columbia, forcing the evacuation of many communities along its path. Evacuated residents are finding themselves in need of a place to stay, food, water and basic necessities. Last week I observed some of the effects first hand while in Calgary and Edmonton where the smoke has spread, severely impacting air quality and visibility.
Pinchin is making a donation to the Canadian Red Cross. Donations will provide relief such as cots, blankets and family reunification, as well as financial assistance to individuals and families to support their immediate needs for food, clothing, and shelter.
If anyone would like to make a donation to support relief efforts, there are many charities collecting funds and providing support.
If you are interested in donating to the Red Cross, information can be found here.
Thank you for your support.
