Water & Wildlife for Developments and Infrastructure

Webinar Recording: Water & Wildlife for Developments and Infrastructure

On Thursday, November 21st, our Pinchin expert, hosted a 1 hour complimentary webinar on “Water & Wildlife for Developments and Infrastructure”.

Environmental regulations are complex. Interpretations are evolving. This webinar was designed to provide an overview of surface environmental regulations. This includes streams and wetlands as well as wildlife and species at risk in the land development context. These regulations apply anytime there are changes to the surface of the land. Understanding how these regulations apply to a land development or infrastructure project are often critical to a successful development outcome.

We provided an overview with real-life project examples and field questions from the infrastructure and development community. An understanding and context of what features are regulated, how they can best be planned for, and how the regulatory process works and may influence development and/or permitting timelines.

Our Environmental Science experts discussed ways to streamline permitting processes for projects. This webinar introduced developers, civil engineers, planners, architects, and other members of the development community to our environmental science service line, and outline some effective and efficient strategies that can help improve the success of projects.
