Meet our Regional Occupational Health & Safety Practice Leader for Southwest Ontario, Brian Agnew.

Brian Agnew is a Senior Occupational Hygiene & Safety Consultant and Pinchin’s Regional Occupational Health & Safety Practice Leader for Southwest Ontario. Pinchin has provided superior occupational hygiene services in the area for more than twenty years, and today Brian and the OH&S team provide comprehensive workplace health and safety services to businesses throughout Kitchener-Waterloo and beyond.

Brian has been with Pinchin since 2002 and is accredited as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

The Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo and Guelph area is an industrial hub in southwestern Ontario, with businesses ranging from small independent companies to multi-national corporations, including the tech, automotive, and agri-food sectors. Over the course of his career, Brian has had the opportunity to work closely with organizations of all sizes to build proactive occupational hygiene programs and assess the risk of worker exposure to both chemical and physical agents, such as heat and noise.

Brian and his team help clients assess workplace hazards, and recommend and assist with protective measures to keep workers safe. He has conducted or managed hundreds of occupational hygiene projects, conducted thousands of confined space hazard assessments, and developed OH&S programs for clients across several industries.

“It’s very gratifying to nurture long-term relationships with clients where we have a shared history and have played a part in their growth and are viewed as trusted partners.”

Brian is also accomplished at training individuals or teams of staff to ensure health and safety programs are fully and properly implemented in the workplace.
