Meet our National Practice Leader for Indoor Environmental Quality, David Muise

David Muise is Pinchin’s National Practice Leader for our Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Group. In the 26 years since he joined Pinchin as a Senior Occupational Hygienist, David has cultivated long-standing and trusted relationships with many of our clients and peers. It is his professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness that earned him his place as National Practice Leader at the start of 2019.

We are best at what we are passionate about, and David is no exception. Having grown up in the mining town of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, he is well familiar with poor air quality and the challenges that come with it. He entered Mount Royal College and attained his Diploma in Occupational Hygiene in order to learn how to effectively address exposure and help people experiencing this issue in their home, town or office. He later earned his Occupational Health Safety Technologist (OHST) Certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, rounding out his expertise.

David is reputed at Pinchin for his approachability, reliability, and collaborative mindset – attributes that set him apart from other Thought Leaders in the field. Couple this with a lifetime of direct experience working in the field and our clients can rest assured that with David and his teams on the job, nothing is left to chance.

In his capacity as National Practice Leader, David focuses on the technical performance of his teams and their ability to provide consistent, superior service to clients in every province, no matter how remote. He works closely with clients in several sectors including commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, and construction. He is connected to every office so he can support clients on a local and national scale, making him an integral partner in ongoing IEQ maintenance and compliance at Pinchin.

If you own or manage commercial or institutional buildings and you are having concerns regarding their indoor environmental quality, please contact David at our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Office or visit the IEQ page of our website.
