Gord Rajewski is the National Practice Leader of our Building Science & Sustainability (BSS) Group. He joined us last year with the intent to improve and optimize the overall quality of our Building Sciences service line, and Pinchin is thrilled to facilitate his journey. Having been in the industry for over 35 years, Gord is passionate in his work and he is not afraid to stand in the spotlight so long as he can educate others in his field, and he has certainly had his time sitting center stage.
Gord has served as Chair of the Edmonton Downtown Business Association Board, as Secretary for the Winnifred Stewart Association Board, and as a Board Member for the Junior Achievement of Northern Alberta and Northwest Territories. He is currently a Court of Queen’s Bench (Alberta) approved expert in the areas of Infrared Thermography, Roof Consulting, and Building Envelopes. On top of this already impressive resume, Gord is also a Certified Level I & II Thermographer and an ARCA Warranty Limited Approved Inspector. He has travelled the globe from the United States all the way to Africa, providing innovative solutions to complex problems and earning client trust in the process.
Such accolades are highly valued here at Pinchin, but they don’t fully demonstrate the work ethic and fearless drive for quality that Gord embodies each day. Shortly after receiving his Diploma in Building Construction Engineering Technology in 1983, Gord jumped right into the industry. He got his first big start as a Building Science Technologist, working his way up to Engineering Manager, then Regional Director, and finally moved on to become Pinchin’s National Practice Leader. Gord has built his career through the investigation of complex problems and his sheer determination to solve them. His track record of success is a testament to that determination.
