Jason Combe is Pinchin’s Regional Director for our offices in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the Kenora office in Northwestern Ontario. With more than two decades of experience providing Hazardous Building Materials (HAZ) services for a wide range of clients in his region, Jason is well known as a Pinchin Thought Leader and stands as an inspiration for all our employees.
Jason learned from a young age the importance of discipline and commitment in achieving his goals and providing the highest level of quality to clients. He spent eight years serving with the United States army, where he honed newly discovered leadership skills and technical knowledge regarding hazardous materials abatement. After his time in the military, Jason worked as a hazardous materials remediation contractor before joining Pinchin in 2005 as a Project Technologist.
It wasn’t long before Jason’s aptitude for leadership and solutions-driven service became apparent at his office in Winnipeg. Solving problems and helping people is what drives him every day. A mindset that was, and continues to be, contagious among his peers, Jason was promoted to Operations Manager for the office in 2009, and spent the next decade managing the administrative, financial and operational activities of Winnipeg’s Hazardous Materials and Industrial Hygiene teams.
During this time, the provincial governments for Manitoba and Ontario announced significant changes to previously existing environmental regulations, enforcing stricter penalties and presenting more obstacles to compliance. With a solid comprehension of the new crop of costly challenges his clients faced, Jason explored every opportunity to help them navigate the new processes while also maintaining their bottom line. Jason understood the urgency, and Pinchin’s reputation for providing a timely response to urgent issues in the region was solidified. In recognition of Jason’s empathy and commitment to his clients, Pinchin promoted him to the position of Director for the region in 2017.
In his capacity as Regional Director, Jason oversees all aspects of the business in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Kenora. He is responsible for the continued growth and development of the offices within his jurisdiction. This includes operations, business development, financials, and administration. He supports his staff by providing technical and management expertise on their proposals and projects and – as he always has – works closely with clients from all sectors to determine and successfully integrate customized solutions for any project or business goal.
