Laura Falby is our new Executive Vice President of People and Culture. She brings many years of leadership experience to our offices, having in the past overseen human resource teams for such companies as Honeywell Aerospace, Labatt, and Second Cup. She is well known for her ability to inspire positive change, facilitate company mergers, and develop high performance teams. Pinchin is excited to have Laura on board for all these reasons and more!
Growing up in Toronto as the daughter of a professional engineer that ran his own consulting business, Laura learned how to survey at a young age, gaining experience running a business and understanding the value of people. With a personal belief that engaged employees are what make companies successful, Laura is passionate about making Pinchin an even better place to work. From onboarding processes through to leadership coaching and employee development, she will be leading the way in our People and Culture team to the ongoing success of the company.
While her professional career is certainly impressive, Laura is also celebrated for her involvement in the community within which she works. For years she has worked with the Lighthouse for Grieving Children to provide support to children, teens and their families following a death in the immediate family. In 2018, she participated in a Habitat for Humanity build in Cambodia, and this year she will be cycling for the fifth time in the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
